We are now only a week away from the first market in Carlisle, and about
a month away from the first harvest for our lovely CSA members! Market starts 3 pm May 9 -- I always say that it is the social event of the week, and have yet to be proven wrong. On the farm the
recent rain has been a great relief, and I'm already planting my first
warm weather crops outside (cucumbers, cherry tomatoes). I turned my
tax refund into a push seeder and couldn't be happier. Germination has
been wonderful and it's 300% quicker to seed, which is making a ton of
difference as I am mostly on my own out there in the fields.
